My birthday was this past week! To celebrate, I got my very first tattoo. ? Thanks to the tattoo shop and my tattoo artist I had a pretty smooth experience. It was painful, yet surprisingly bearable for this particular spot on my wrist. Even though it’s such a small tattoo, this was a big deal for me because it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for years and it was actually on my bucket list. Feels good to finally have it done!
Yep, I’m over 3 decades old. ? It’s a strange feeling. Overall, I’m at a pretty good place in my life right now but I still can’t escape feeling lost and confused at times….way more than I’d like to admit. At this age you think you should have life all figured out (“thirty, flirty, and thriving“???) but so many of us still don’t. Me, for example: I still procrastinate on my chores and to-do list, I can be messy and forgetful, I HATE doing paperwork, I’m still paying down student loan debt, we don’t have kids (yet), and I’m still learning to cook. ??♀️ I refuse to grow up. There are still so many things I wanna do and places I wanna go, that it’s almost overwhelming. But it’s all good. As long as I’m working toward my goals and constantly trying to better myself and my life, then I really am doing well overall.
So to go along with that I thought I’d make a very cliché list of movies for women to watch in their 30’s. This should go without saying but…of course there are many other movies that could go on this list. But some of these remind me of situations, people, and emotions I’m experiencing in my 30’s. And some are just fun or interesting to watch. So these may not be your cup of tea and that’s ok. ?
