One of the hottest new shows on TV right now is the HBO’s Westworld!
If you’ve never heard of it, it’s a sci-fi drama set in the future, about a western theme park with very lifelike robots, where guests can live out their craziest and darkest fantasies. Every day the robots’ memories are reset, but things change as the robots start to remember things. The show is inspired by the 1973 film of the same name, and it stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, James Marsden, Ed Harris, and Anthony Hopkins.
One of my favorite things about the show is the beautiful visuals and use of color. I love the sharp contrast of the country, western theme of the park with the high-tech, modern feel of the lab. There’s a lot of use of the color blue (the characters are often wearing the color) and it’s often paired with brown or another dark color.
I put together this list of home decor inspired by the show. All of these items are beautiful and won’t cost you $40,000 a day (ha).
